What is a Virus?
Viruses can infect computers in much the same way they infect
people. They can cause a whole host of nasty symptoms such as file loss,
program or computer failure, and slowed operation. To combat viruses,
be careful with the files you download and install. In addition, a good
antivirus program that performs automatic scans on a regular schedule
will help keep you protected.
Sometimes it feels like technology advances faster than you can
follow. This creates knowledge gaps in the experience of the average
home user. However, with a little bit of education and maybe a few
well-placed notes, you can combat common computer problems. From
forgetting how to do something to being infected with a virus, almost
anything is correctable.
